The Athletic Booster would like to congratulate all of our student athletes and coaches on a fabulous 2008-2009 year. Your accomplishments, both on and off the field were exemplary. Students, coaches, and parents, your hard work, perseverance, and team work were not only a pleasure to watch but an honor to be a part of.
At this time I would like to introduce to you the Athletic Booster Officers for the 2009-2010 school year: Tammy Birch, President; Genie Crotte, Vice-President; Pat Peruchietti, Treasurer; and Fran Cooper, Secretary. We have several of the Chairperson positions filled as well. They are as follows: Cathy May, Team Sport Rep. Liaison; Kim Lamp, Football Sweepstakes; Deidre Smith, 50/50 Raffle; and JoAnn Joswick, Spirit wear. We are still looking for a Concessions Chair, a JV Football Concessions Chair, and JoAnn would like an assistant to help with Spirit wear. If you, or someone you, know is interested in one of these positions please contact one of the officers. If you are unsure of how to contact one of us please contact the main office at Hackett. This year is off to a great start with summer conditioning and camps taking place weekly. Several of our teams in both the fall and winter season have regularly scheduled conditioning sessions. Some, but not all, of those teams include: football, volleyball, men’s soccer, men’s and ladies basketball. Many of our coaches have listed information about summer workout programs on their Hackett links. If you are interested in any of these programs or one I have not listed please go to the Home page, click on Athletics, and then select the sport you have an interest in exploring. Many of our coaches have listed their schedules right on their link along with their e-mail address so that you may contact them if you have any questions.
Please remember that a complete physical form must be on file before your son or daughter can attend tryouts for any team at Hackett. A physical form can be downloaded by going to the Home page, clicking on Forms, and selecting the appropriate form. The Fall Sport Team Meeting will take place at the end of August. At that time we will kick off our annual Football Frenzy Fundraiser which benefits all of our student athletes. Please look for more information about this important meeting in the upcoming month.
On behalf of the Athletic Booster Board, we would like to thank you for all the support you have given to our student athletes and Hackett. We look forward to seeing you on the field, working with you and as always….
