Quiz Bowl 
The
Quiz Bowl is the Kalamazoo Valley Association academic competition.
Team members are selected for their academic strengths in the areas of
Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Fine Arts as
well as their ability to recall information quickly. A
placement on the team is granted to students who demonstrate these
skills during practices. The team captains and faculty adviser make the
final selections. The team
is comprised of Juniors and Seniors and divided into two teams: A- which are the top competitors and B- which are dedicated students studying hard to make the A team. The ten KVA schools meet once a year for an all-day competition. The
final winning team has the opportunity to compete at the state level.
